About Camp
There will be sessions of camp held throughout the summer months. Each session will be four days long and will run from 9am-1pm daily. Please check back for additional camp dates in the future. Each camp group will be formed based on riding level, so all riding levels are encouraged to sign up!
Camp will include:

One hour group lessons each day

Goal-oriented lessons for each camper
Our camp staff will teach campers grooming and care activities according to their riding level. This may include:

Proper Tacking

Cleaning

Bathing

Parts of the Horse

Parts of the Tack

Mane Pulling

Basic Clipping

Wrapping
-
Health Care

Feeding and Nutrition
For Parents
Please ensure that you pack a lunch with plenty of water and snacks for your camper. Attire must include boots and long pants to ride. Campers are encouraged to bring a change of clothes (especially in those hot weeks) but please remember that closed toes shoes must be worn at all times.
The last day of camp for each session parents are invited to come and watch their child ride. Please contact ridetruecourse@gmail.com for exact times.
Accommodations
Campers will be grouped according to their riding level on the first day of camp.
Each day includes good grooming and tacking before and after each lesson, and an hour lesson in a group with other campers. Camp will be small enough to be able to focus on each camper their specific needs and goals.
Child care will be provided after camp for $10/hour per child.
Cost
Weekly Sessions are $300/Participant.
